Pocházíme z východního Londýna. Odtud máme i název skupina East 17. East 17 je městská část východního Londýna.
Řekněte nám více o muzice East 17, o skladbách, umístění v žebříčcích?
Měli jsme 22 singlů po celém světě, včetně vánočních skladeb. Jedničkou v Británii byla skladba Stay Another Day. Což byla totální bomba po 6 týdnů. 6 týdnů byla první v hitparádách, prodali jsme tohoto singlu na 1 200 000 kusů.
Co si myslíte, že byl váš největší úspěch?
East17 měl v 90. letech velký úspěch. I v současnosti máme spoustu úspěchů, příkladně za posledních pár let, hrajeme více koncertů než jsme měli v 90 letech. Vydáváme nové album s názvem 24/7, a v létě na koncertech v Evropě a v USA budek dispozici.
Robbie, budete hrát s kapelou EAST17 v Praze. Líbí se ti to město? Líbí se vám Česká republika?
Všichni milujeme Prahu, dějiny Prahy. Navštívíme opět staré město opředené legendami s velkou historickou scenérií. Jinak v Praze našifanoušci jsou blázniví. Dokáží se bavit tak jak v 90 letech. Toto město je fantastické.
Jaké místo je pro vás nejkrásnější?
Existuje mnoho krásných míst, které jsme za posledních několik let viděli. Byli jsme na turné v Austrálii, to bylo fantastické. Mongolsko, Německo, Bejrút, Česká republika, Rusko, Francie, Itálie, většina Evropy, toto milujeme Všude, kde jsme, vždycky máme čas podívat se na památky a podobně. Milujeme cestování..
Jsi nervózní před vystoupení?
Nervózní nejsme. Protože všichni v kapele víme co máme dělat. Show si připravujeme dopředu v tanečním studiu, a připravujeme choreografii. Tak aby se fanoušci měli nač těšit, a byl pro ně koncert více zajímavý.
Pokud by jste měli tři přání které byse vám mohli vyplnit, co by to bylo?
Tři přání pro kapelu East17 – aby dobře fanoušci přijali nové album 24/7, abychom byli úspěšní, abychom mohli pracovat pro lidi takabyse jim naše vystupování líbilo.,
A pro nás - pokračovat v tom co děláme, hodně cestovat, a mít přízeň u fanoušků.
A konečně bychom chtěli znát vaše osobní poselství pro naše čtenáře.

Our location East London is where we got the band name East17 our location is the 17th Borough of East London.
Please tell us more about the songs from the group EAST17.
We have had 22 number 1 singles all over the world including a Christmas number 1 in the U.K. called “Stay Another Day” which was number 1 for 6 weeks and went 6 times platinum selling 1.2 million records.
What do you think your biggest success was?
East17 had big success in the 90’s. But we are having lots of success now performing more shows now than we have ever done before. We are loving it also we have recorded an amazing new album called 24/7 that will be available soon.
Robbie, you will play with your band EAST17 in Prague. Do you like this city? Do you like the Czech Republic?
We all love Prague, the history of Prague is amazing and the people are lovely, the fans are fantastic very crazy when we are performing, we will be visiting the old town when we are there, we love the history of this city.
What is the most beautiful place for you?
There are many beautiful places we have been over the last few years. We have been on tour in Australia, that was fantastic, Mongolia, Germany, Beirut, Czech Republic, Russia, France, Italy, most of Europe we love everywhere we go we always have a great time travelling the world.
Do you get nervous before a performance or a competition?
We don’t get nervous as everyone in the band knows what they are doing, we have been rehearsing in a dance studio lately doing more dancing to our songs making our show better for the fans.
If you had three wishes free for this year - what would they be?
If we had three wishes this Year they would be for our new East17 album 24/7 to be successful, for us to be performing shows forever as we love it, and for us to keep doing what we do travelling the world performing for the fans and making amazing songs.
