Alan - Who are you and who answers questions?
We are MAYBJUNE from Berlin.
My name is Anna, I am the singer.
Axel – keyboards
Christian, I am playing the guitars

(Anna:) And we have another Christian playing the bass who could not make it today.
Alan - How many times were u playing in Czech republic?
RUVEN: Our keyboarder said, that we have played in the Czech Republic – in the past. But I can’t remember.
AXEL: No, no, no – I have never said that. The opposite is true. We have played all over this planet but have saved the Czech Republic for the grand finale to come.
Alan - Where can we check you out?
ANNA: You can listen to our music, our newly released album “Pretty Lies” on different streaming platforms like iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music…
AXEL: … and we have Deezer.
ANNA: … just search for the name of our band. It is written like the two months: “May” in spring and “June” in the summer with a “B”!

Alan - When someone would have interest in your concerts in Czech Republic, where they can hit you out?
AXEL: You can hear us anywhere you like. Anywhere you take your smart phone with your headphones or your Bluetooth box – we are there! And I if you want to hear us live in the Czech Republic, make sure you come, invite us to the Czech Republic and we will hit the road.
Alan – What’s your last album, and what are you planning to do?
CHRISTIAN: We released our last album in September in December 2018 together with our video single “Let Me Stay Right Here”.
ANNA: On the album, called “Pretty Lies” you will find 13 tracks and I have put together some stories of my life, about love, deceit, small and bigger dramas and all the stuff that people usually don’t understand – so it’s mainly about love…
Alan - Where in Czech was the best city to play, and why?
RUVEN: Yeah, tell us, please let us know. We know of course Prague, but maybe you have some other ideas where we could play in other cities, like Pilsen or – I don’t know – so, come out with your ideas.
ANNA: Yeah, Alan, maybe you can let us know, give some suggestions, where in the Czech Republic we will find the most chilled most joyful people who are loving beer and loving good music and like to dance and have some good party.
Alan - Do you have any favourite festival?
CHRISTIAN: We like the “Fête de la musique” because it is everywhere in Europe and all over the streets there are musicians making music and that’s really awesome.
Alan - And in foreign countries? Do you have any favourite festival or club?
CHRISTIAN: Some years ago we played in Sulecin in Poland at the “Wake Up And Live” Festival. It was really fantastic. We loved that.
AXEL: We didn’t only love playing in Sulecin, we also loved meeting the Polish people and the vodka and we ended up being the last [persons] on the festival [at night] and I can remember waking up the next day. It was not really “Wake Up and Live”, the title of the festival.
Alan - Do you know any czech musicians or bands?
ANNA: Yes of course we do. I think everybody in Germany knows Karel Gott because he was singing the German version of the Bee Maya title song; and that’s the song our drummer Ruven usually sings during the soundcheck. But for me I know also the lady called Helena Vondráčková, and as Polish girl I also know Ewa Farna and I like her music very much.
Alan - Would you mind to cooperate with any czech interpert, and if yes with who?
ANNA: Well, since we do not know so many of them, I would prefer to co-operate with Ewa, as I have already said, because I think that her music style corresponds with our music, and we could make some interesting projects.
Alan - You are a long time on a scene. Do you have any unfulfilled musician dream?
RUVEN: We already have reached everything, I think: We have a very pretty singer, we destroyed a hotel room, and…
AXEL: …we played on big stages…
ANNA: But wait guys, I think there is something left. I could imagine going on a tour, playing a concert in each capital city across Europe. That would be nice.
Alan – What 3 songs do people wanna hear on your concerts? And what is your opinion?
AXEL: I guess the songs that people want to hear most are: “Not afraid of Rock ‘n Roll”, which is an uptempo song. Another one is “Things You Do”. It’s a song about a person who is always different from what you expect but nevertheless it’s the perfect person, last but not least of course our single and video song, which is called “Let Me Stay Right Here”. It’s an epic one, a long one, it’s like six minutes long – and people love it.
Alan - What is your favourite 3 songs from you?
CHRISTIAN: So we always argue about our favorite songs. I think Axel likes most “Something That We Breathe For” because that has a very long keyboard intro…
RUVEN: …very long…
CHRISTIAN: … very, very, very long… So it is a keyboard song, actually, but it has a saxophone solo at the end.
RUVEN: And a crazy guitar at the end.
AXEL: Yeah it is a mad guitar solo. But it is a piano ballad; mainly. So we all know that’s the best song (laughs)
RUVEN: That’s the best song (laughs).
CHRISTIAN: No, I prefer “Another Time”. It’s the opener of our CD.
ANNA: And my favorite song is probably our single “Let Me Stay Right Here” probably because it is a very emotional song, and that’s why I like it.
RUVEN: And my favorite song is “Hold On To Me” or “Not Afraid of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, baby.
Alan - What do you wanna say to your fans in czech republic?
